How it works
Write one name per line, choose how many teams, and it shuffles everyone into groups at random. Use it for PE class sides, group projects or board game teams.
Pick Order instead and it lines everyone up from first to last, handy for presentation order or cleaning rotas.
Tips
- Same result by link
- Once you split, the address carries the names and the shuffle. Anyone who opens that link sees exactly the same teams, so nobody can argue about the result.
- Even team sizes
- If the headcount does not divide evenly, the first teams get one extra each, so team sizes never differ by more than one.
- Shuffle again
- Not happy? Hit shuffle again. Still, deciding once in front of everyone is the fairest way.
