Which Wizard House Are You?

What this test is

It opens with a letter of admission sailing through your window in the middle of the night. Which wand you reach for, what you do when a practice spell blows up in smoke, how you behave in front of a restricted door left ajar: those choices settle which house you belong to.

The houses are Emberfox, Inkowl, Mistcat, Moonwhale, Vinebear and Thunderdeer. Both the names and the animals behind them were invented here, and nobody sorts you by grades, only by how you actually move. Screenshot your placement card and find everyone who landed in the same house.

How it works

It follows your first days at school
The scenes run in order: the letter, the wand shop, the first lesson, the library, your room, the school festival. It never asks how good your magic is, only what kind of person you are in that moment.
Every house is original
The names, the animals and the write-ups were all invented for this quiz. You are not being squeezed into houses you have seen elsewhere; the personalities were cut into six fresh groups.
Your answers pile up as points
Every option carries points toward houses. No single question decides it: the totals are added up at the end and the highest house is where you go.
Your placement card, then share
When you finish, the house you were placed in comes up as a card with its personality write-up. Send the link with Share and your friends get placed too.

Frequently asked questions

Where do the house names come from?
They were all made up here. They have no connection to any school or house from another work, and the animals and write-ups were written fresh for this quiz.
Does the placement diagnose my personality?
It is here for fun. Not a validated psychological test or a diagnosis, so hold the result loosely.
Will a second run put me somewhere else?
Change your answers and it changes. Because the points are totalled, shifting even a few picks can move you to another house.
Is it free?
It is free. One Google sign-in covers saving and sharing your result.
