About this game

Hop the soy-milk carton across roads and rivers, endless crossing!

What this game is

You hop forward one square at a time, crossing roads and rivers. A tap moves you one square ahead, a swipe sends you the way you swiped. Get hit by a car or land in water with no log under you and the run is over.

On the river a log carries you along with it, so standing still changes your situation anyway. On top of that the view keeps pushing forward, so the longer you deliberate the closer the bottom edge gets. Your score is simply the number of rows you crossed.

How to play

Tap to go forward, swipe to pick a direction
A tap takes you one square ahead; swipe sideways or back to go that way instead. On a desktop the arrow keys or WASD do the same thing.
Roads are timing, rivers are position
There is always a gap between cars, so waiting is a real strategy. On a river you can only stand on a log, and if a log carries you off the edge of the board that is the end of the run.
Grass is where you breathe
The row right after a river is always a clear bank with no trees. Trees on grass do block your path, but a row is never sealed off completely.
Standing still gets you cut off
The view keeps advancing, so lingering near the bottom ends the run on its own. Cars and logs also get faster the further you go, which makes keeping a rhythm worth more than caution.

Frequently asked questions

Can I move backwards?
Swipe down and you step back one square. The view keeps advancing though, so use it to dodge for a moment rather than to retreat.
Can a row turn out to be impossible?
No. A gap always opens between cars, a log always comes past on the water, and the row straight after a river always has somewhere to land.
Is it free?
Yes. One Google sign-in is all it takes and there is no payment step anywhere.
Does it work on a phone?
It opens straight in a phone, tablet or desktop browser. Taps and swipes on a phone, the keyboard on a desktop, same game either way.
