About this game
Whack the moles as they pop up, test your reflexes!
What this game is
Six holes, moles popping out of them, and fifteen seconds to see how many you can hit. A tap counts only while the mole is up, and hitting a hole that already emptied does nothing.
Each mole stays up for half a second to a second, and it never comes straight back out of the hole it just used. So keeping all six in view and moving only your hand beats staring at one spot.
How to play
- Fifteen seconds a round
- Press start and the clock runs down from fifteen, then the round closes on its own. It is short, so have your hand over the board before you press.
- Only while it is up
- A hit registers only while the mole is showing. There is no penalty for missing, but every miss spends time you do not get back.
- Never the same hole twice in a row
- The hole a mole just used is skipped for the next pop. After a hit, move your eyes somewhere else straight away.
- Best score and challenges
- Your best stays in this browser, and when the round ends you can share a link with the score inside it. Whoever opens it starts with your number posted as the target.
Frequently asked questions
- How long is one round?
- Fifteen seconds. The clock starts the moment you press start and closes the round by itself.
- Do misses cost points?
- Nothing is subtracted. The fifteen seconds keep running, though, so a miss still costs you.
- Does touch work?
- Yes. It takes both taps and clicks, and a hit gives a short buzz.
- Is there anything to install or sign up for?
- No. It is free, and one Google sign-in starts it right in the browser.
