About this game

Stack the cards by suit, classic Klondike solitaire

What this game is

Klondike solitaire: gather all fifty-two cards into four suited piles running from Ace to King. Down in the seven columns you build the other way, alternating colours and dropping one rank at a time.

Nothing here is dragged. Tap the card you want to move, then tap where it goes. Tapping your chosen card a second time sends it up to whichever suited pile will take it, and an undo button walks bad moves back.

How to play

Two taps to move
Tap the card you want and it lights up, then tap where it should go. In the seven columns, everything stacked below the card you picked travels with it.
How the stacks build
In the seven columns each card goes on the opposite colour and one rank lower. An empty column takes only a King, and the four spots up top build from Ace upward in a single suit.
The stock deals one at a time
Each tap on the stock at the top left turns one card face up. When it runs out, the cards you drew become the stock again in the same order, so you can cycle as often as you like.
Undo is right there
A bad move comes back one step at a time with undo. If the deal itself looks stuck, new game hands you a fresh one.

Frequently asked questions

How many cards do I draw at once?
One card per draw. When the stock empties, the drawn cards return as the stock in the same order, so you can keep cycling.
Can I drag cards instead?
There is no dragging. On a phone a slipped finger scatters cards easily, so moving is tap to pick and tap to place.
Are some deals impossible to finish?
Klondike does throw up deals that cannot be finished. When you are stuck, new game gives you another one.
Does it cost anything?
It is free. One Google sign-in and it opens on a phone, tablet or desktop.
